Job Title: Survey Crew Chief

Position Overview:
The Survey Crew Chief leads a field survey crew and is responsible for the accurate and efficient execution of surveying tasks. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership in the field, and the ability to work independently while directing crew members.

Responsibilities

• Lead a field survey crew including construction staking, boundary surveys, and topographic surveys
• Operate and maintain survey equipment to ensure accurate data collection
• Direct and support survey crew members in daily field activities
• Communicate with project teams and clients regarding field progress and needs
• Ensure field work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of land surveying experience
• Ability to work independently and lead a field crew
• Strong understanding of survey methods and equipment
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory motor vehicle record
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions
